How long does shipping take within New Zealand?

We dispatch within 1–3 business days from our Auckland studio — every piece is checked, wrapped, and packed by hand. Once it's with NZ Post, tracked delivery typically takes 1–3 working days to urban addresses and 2–5 to rural ones. You'll receive a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — shipping is free on all New Zealand orders over NZ$150. Orders below that ship for a flat NZ$8.50, tracked. Full details are on our shipping page.

Do you ship internationally?

Not just yet — we currently ship within New Zealand only. If you're overseas and have fallen for a piece, email us and we'll see what we can arrange.

What materials do you use?

Ethically sourced recycled gold and silver, conflict-free gemstones, and sustainable freshwater pearls. Every material is chosen with the same care we give the making — beauty shouldn't cost the earth.

Is each piece really one of a kind?

Yes. Everything is handcrafted in small numbers in our Auckland studio, and we don't make the same piece twice. Natural stones also vary in colour and pattern, so even similar designs carry their own character — think of it as a fingerprint, not a flaw.

How do I care for my jewellery?

Treat it like the keepsake it is: put it on last (after perfume, lotion, and hairspray), take it off before swimming, showering, or sleeping, and store it in its pouch away from direct sunlight. A gentle wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing keeps metals bright and stones glowing.

What's your returns policy?

We offer 14-day change-of-mind returns on unworn pieces in their original condition and packaging. And if something is ever faulty, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply regardless. See the full returns policy for how to start a return.

What if my piece arrives damaged or faulty?

We're so sorry — email us with your order number and a photo, and we'll put it right with a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Guarantees Act. We cover return shipping for faulty items.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every LUA piece arrives gift-ready in our packaging — no extra charge. If your order is going straight to someone special, leave a note at checkout (or email us) and we'll include a handwritten card and keep the prices off the paperwork.

Can I choose a different chain length?

Many pieces are made in small batches, so adjustments aren't always possible — but it never hurts to ask. Email us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
